Tuna Dumplings
These festive tuna dumplings are the perfect bite for drinks. Serve them alongside other recipes from our site, like swordfish with citrus vinaigrette and shrimp blinis with spicy mayonnaise. As seen on this delightful appetizer spread!
Mix the tuna with the ginger, chili paste, and scallion in a bowl.
Heat the oil in a deep pan to 180°C. Test the temperature with a piece of bread—if it sizzles and turns brown, the oil is hot enough.
Leg de dumplingvellen op een werkvlak en beleg elk vel met een flinke theelepel van het tonijnmengsel. Bestrijk de randen met het maizena-mengsel, vouw dicht en druk aan.
Place the dumpling wrappers on a flat surface and top each wrapper with a generous teaspoon of the tuna mixture. Brush the edges with the cornstarch mixture, fold them closed, and press to seal.
Drain the tuna dumplings on paper towels and serve with sweet soy sauce.
